Flow is a state of mind that occurs when we are completely absorbed in an activity, to the point where we lose track of time and forget our worries and concerns. This state of mind can obtain through various activities, from playing music or sports to cooking or gardening. When we experience flow, our bodies release dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and reward.

Happiness is a product of our brains and a bodily experience. Our bodies can produce feelings of happiness through physical activity, touch, and the flow experience. Therefore, if we want to be truly happy, we need to pay attention to both our minds and our bodies. We need to engage in activities that promote physical fulfillment and prioritize our physical well-being and mental health. Doing so can create a more holistic and fulfilling experience of happiness in our lives.
